Woodland Press has been notified by the Appalachian Writers Association that three of their book
titles have been nominated for the prestigious 2012 Appalachian Book of the Year Awards in their
respective categories. The nominated books include:
-- The Devil's Son: Cap Hatfield and the End of the Hatfield and McCoy Feud, Author Anne Black Gray
-- Hills of Fire: Bare-Knuckle Yarns of Appalachia, Editor Frank Larnerd
-- Fed from the Blade: Tales and Poems from the Mountains, Editors Cat Pleska and Michael Knost
